Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center is a Christian non-profit ministry located in Mira Mesa that strives to provide hope, help and healing to women in crisis pregnancies. Cloudbreak Church partners with this ministry by providing both financial support and volunteers. We also actively participate in annual family-friendly fundraisers, filling baby bottles with coins and raising support from family and friends for the Walk for Life. Prison Fellowship partners with local churches across the country to minister to a group that society often scorns and neglects: prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families.

Cloudbreak Church participates in a Prison Fellowship launched 1 1/2 years ago called Transformational Discipleship & Reconciliation Ministry (TDR). The goal is to train, network and encourage a community of care that assists an inmate and their family on their journey to spiritual maturity, fruitfulness, and integration back into society.

How it works
The Pre-Release and Reentry ministry helps reconcile inmates to God, the church, family, and community. This is accomplished by helping the inmate prepare for release (12-18 months prior) and then have a team on the outside that welcomes and assists the inmate as they reenter the community. They participate in classes that discuss or are related to education, finances, jobs, etc.

The inmate will also be assigned a mentor who works with the Community Reentry Team (CRT) to help the inmate find a church, a job, housing and community resources upon release.

Angel Tree
Cloudbreak Church is also involved in Angel Tree, another ministry of Prison Fellowship. At Christmastime, volunteers from Cloudbreak purchase and deliver gifts to the children of inmates in their parent’s name. Each gift delivery also presents an opportunity to share the love and hope of Christ with each family. Through Angel Tree, these children feel a parent’s love, despite their absence.
