Church Organization

We are an independent San Diego based Christian church that has chosen to associate ourselves with the Southern Baptist Convention to cooperate in the sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ around the world. We are a congregational church (self-governing) and believe God’s Spirit is equally available to all people who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that everyone at Cloudbreak plays a key role in God’s plans for our church. When we come to faith, God gives each one of us a special gifting and assignment within the church. Because of that, we include everyone in key decisions. God wants us to lead by serving others. We work together and have fun together.

Our church decides our budget, our spending and giving together. We seek God’s will for Cloudbreak together, and work toward sharing Jesus’ love as a team.

We have a pastoral leadership team that works in tandem with our lay pastors and ministry heads to fulfill God’s plan for our church.
